24 - 25 May - Bright Gravel Stage Race

In its second year, the event has moved to the 24th and 25th of May weekend and is now a 2-day stage race!

Starting and finishing from the centre of town, the course highlights some of the premium unsealed roads of the region across two great days of racing and riding.

On course, riders can expect fun live sites featuring food, hydration, music, and good vibes to keep morale high out on the road.

For those looking to race, there are six timed stages in total with four on Saturday stage and two stages on Sunday.

While the event welcomes all riders (including eMTBs), being Bright, you can expect a lot of climbing so be ready for a bit of a sting in the legs by the end!

Entry Includes:

• Custom race plate

• Course refuelling stations

• Six timed segments for those who like to race

• Professionally marked course

• Good vibes all weekend.

Short Course and Single-Day Entry Note: While results will show you in your category, prizes will only be awarded to the top three overall Male and Female riders (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).

Full category prizes are only awarded to those competing in the full-distance 2-Day Stage Race.

Junior categories are offered only to riders under 19 years of age.
Age is taken as of 31 December 2025.

For 2025 Big Hill Events (BHE) races, all participants are covered under the AusCycling insurance policy, which includes personal accident insurance.
