McKayos hasn't just arrived, it's kicked the door in, thrown its bag down and made a permanent spot on the couch for the rest of the week. ​ 2018 was something else, McKayos #1, #2 and #3 were epic for all their own reasons but #4 brought double the competitors and the most epic start the event has seen yet! Blue skies, a groomed trail and a never-ending sea of carnage muscling for position, the best out of the blocks leaving 350+ in their wake. ​ It was pretty awesome. ​ in 2019 McKayos will return in its traditional closing ski season weekend slot, ready to race the Falls Creek trails all the way to Bogong Village. 22km, 1250m, and maybe a few extra surprises to throw in between now and race day. As always, McKayos is about more than the chaos of hundreds of riders in a mass start on snow. It's about hundreds of riders closing things out with a beer on the banks of Lake Guy, sharing war stories and showing off battle scars. ​ Be part of the legend this year, come ride the Chaos!
