WA XCO State Round 5 - Dunsorough as part of Down South MTB Festival

The Down south MTB Festival is a local family friendly club run event, hosted by MRORCA, (The Margaret River of Road Association), the Cape Mountain Bikers and the Dunsborough Cycle Club. Traditionally held over the June long weekend its hosts 2 rounds of the state cross country Mountain Bike race series. With more than 500 participants expected to compete over the weekend ranging from elite cross-country mountain bikers to kids having a great time in the U9’s race. Taking in some of WA's newest and most technically challenging trails within the Margaret River and Dunsborough MTB parks. Both the Margaret river and Dunsborough courses are designed to challenge your bike handling skills and test your strength, stamina and mental grit There will also be some of the South West’s best mountain bike coaches on site offering some great kids specific + Adult basic MTB skills and Advanced MTB skills coaching clinics. Combine this with a variety of free events being offered with in our MTB challenge areas, Big kids and little kids will be catered for including, 16 inch wheeled bike races, wheelie competitions, balancing challenges, dual slalom races, bunny hops, jump displays and this year we will also be introducing some fun gravity enduro action. Action kicks off in Dunsborough on Sat June 1 and in Margaret river on Sunday the 2nd, Once again, this great MTB weekend promises to deliver a unique outdoor adventure experience for all off the family.
